The core of Spaltfix K-450:

The ring knife splits timber into up to 15 billets (F0002106)
The powerful Spaltfix K-450 with its splitting power of 22 t and “Autospeed” function splits timber up to 45 cm Ø into 4, 6, 8, 12 and even 15 billets in one cycle. Logs are fed into the large cutting and splitting area with all-purpose cross and roller conveyors (optional). An automatic gripper, with wood diameter display, seizes the wood. A Harvester SuperCut system, a chainsaw with 75cm guide bar length and 22 kW drive is used for cutting. After cutting, the wood moves to the splitting trough where a sturdy piston pushes it against the splitting knife with a force of 22t.
