Nature may provide us with huge quantities of firewood, but it doesn’t supply it in manage-able units. In other words: Professional equipment is needed for cutting or splitting. Such as the new SplitMaster “Easy” by Posch that makes splitting firewood even more convenient and ergonomic.
SplitMaster Easy is an ergonomic horizontal splitter that brings firewood into shape. The principle of this latest development of Posch is easy to understand: The Easy splitting knife splits the log into four parts. The two parts at the bottom come out in optimum size for stor-age and later processing. The two parts on the top are pulled back from the “wings” of the splitting knife by means of a lumber pick, rolled onto the lifting device or into the splitting trough and then split once more – splitting can be continued until the ideal size is achieved.
Sheer power
The splitting power of the new SplitMaster “Easy” is truly respectable: With its splitting power of either 26 t or 30 t, the splitter splits logs up to a length of 1.25 m and diameters of 80 cm without any effort. The large timber table (1 x 2 m) comes in handy because it can hold even large billets. The splitter comes standard with an “Easy”splitting knife for our parts and “AutoSpeed” function, i.e. pressure-controlled switching between the two splitting speeds. Also included in the basic delivery schedule is the ergonomic lumber pick that can be han-dled with just one hand.
