Splitting made even more ergonomic!
Nature may provide us with huge quantities of firewood, but it doesn't supply it in manageable units. In other words:Professional equipment is needed for cutting or splitting. Such as the new SplitMaster 20 by Posch that makes splittingfirewood even more convenient and ergonomic.
Until recently, the tried and tested SplitMaster family of Posch had seven members. The mode of operation of thepowerful horizontal splittersis well-known and proven. Now a new family member has been added, the SplitMaster 20. With its “Easy” system, it brings a major innovation to the world of horizontal splitting. The principle is quite easy tounderstand: In addition to the“conventional” SplitMaster 20, there is also option Y, a special “Easy” splitting knife for four parts that makes splitting even more ergonomic. The knife splits the log into four parts. The two parts at the bottom come out in optimum size for storage and later processing. The two parts on the top are pulled back from the “wings“ of the splitting knife by means of a lumber pick, rolled onto the lifting device or into the splitting trough and then split again - splitting can be continued until the ideal size is achieved.
Sheer power
With its splitting power of 20 tons, the SplitMaster 20 splits logs up to a length of 1.10 m and diameters of 60 cm without any effort. The splitter comes standard with Autospeed function, i.e. pressurecontrolled switching between the two splitting speeds.
