New: Spaltfix K-540:
A sturdy fellow when it comes to cutting and splitting.
The name Spaltfix stands for concentrated powerand top performance. This is illustrated by the new Spaltfix K-540, the latest model in the Spaltfix family.
Reducing large logs quickly and conveniently – that was the task that Posch set for itself when developing the new Spaltfix K-540. The result can be seen: Wood of up to 55 cm in diameter poses no problem for the new Spaltfi x. But it has more than just concentrated power. It can be easily operated with a standard two-handed joystick, which makes it the best for ease-of-use. With an impressive 15 or 35 tonnes of force, the K-540 can split up to 15 logs in one operation. The adjustable timber Stopp prevents the wood from jamming, and ensures a smooth work process.
Best-equipped
The standard equipment is worth listing: All hydraulic options, such as, for example, the saw feed, wood rocker or double gripper are included as standard in the basic machine, as well as the well-regarded auto speed function. Each unit is equipped with a convenient two-handed joystick control. The drive can be supplied either through a PTO, electric motor, a combination of both, or a diesel engine.
Splitting and cutting made easy.
Thanks to the double-cylinder system, Spaltfi x is a true athlete. Spaltfix’ two cylinders allow for rewinding twice as fast, and thus a higher output per hour. The hydraulic wood rocker optimises the wood transfer between the cutting and sawing areas. A trunk manipulator is ideally positioned. More advantages: the massive tractor chassis, the hydraulic saw feed and automatic double gripper function.
