Powerful, robust and reliable. Here’s how one can describe the new Spaltfix S-350. With a splitting force of 12 tonnes, the Spaltfix goes to work cutting and splitting wood up to 35 cm in diameter. Wood can be supplied into a 2-metre-long hydraulic wood feed conveyor with a 900 mm Widia sawblade. The wood is split into 2, 4, 6 or8 pieces, with a billet length of 50 cm.The hydraulic lower wood holder and adjustable wood stop prevent lifts when cutting a piece of wood. But that is not all: One operates the Spaltfix with a convenient one-hand joystick control. And something else special about the Spaltfix S-350: the practical bend conveyor. It can be easily folded and transported, compact and space-saving. The drive can be supplied either through a PTO or a PTO and electric motor.
