The core of Spaltfix K-540:

Powerful and fast. The double cylinder system delivers a double-speed return and therefore hight hroughput per hour.
Wood of up to 55 cm in diameter poses no problem for the new Spaltfix. But it has more than just concentrated power. It can be easily operated with a standard two-handed joystick, which makes it the best for ease-of-use. With an impressive 15 or 35 tonnes of force, the K-540 can split up to 15 logs in one operation. The adjustable timber Stopp prevents the wood from jamming, and ensures a smooth work process. Spaltfix’ two double-cylinder system allows for rewinding twice as fast, and thus a higher output per hour. The hydraulic wood rocker optimises the wood transfer between the cutting and sawing areas. A trunk manipulator is ideally positioned. The standard equipment is worth listing: All hydraulic options, such as, for example, the saw feed, wood rocker or double gripper are included as standard in the basic machine, as well as the well-regarded auto speed function. Each unit is equipped with a convenient two-handed joystick control. The drive can be supplied either through a PTO, electric motor, a combination of both, or a diesel engine.
