The core of Spaltfix K-440:

1. Double-gripper with timber Ø display
2. Harvester chain saw with 750 mm guide bar length
3. Hydraulic rocking device that automatically retracts to move the timber into the splitting trough
4. A powerful piston thrusts the wood against the double-edged splitting knife with a force of 18t 5.

Roller conveyor including log manipulator (standard) move the timber to the 75 cm Harvester chain saw.

The “2-6-12 Spezial 3-in-1” frame knife (accessory) for adjustment to various timber diameters without the need to change knives.

New in the Spaltfix range: The sturdy Spaltfix K-440 cuts and splits timber up to 45 cm Ø with a splitting power of 18 t. The 2-cylinder system makes return movement at double the speed possible. The K-440 comes with roller conveyor and massive tractor chassis for mobile application. The adjustable 3-in-1 frame “Spezial” knife for 2, 6 or 12 billets allows adjustment to logs of various diameters without having to change the splitting knife. Driven by electric motor, tractor or a combination of the two.
