It comprises a protective grille at the rear of the SplitMaster, a spacious wood tray and a hydraulic lifting mechanism, which must be in a horizontal position in order to start the splitting process. This ensures that safety is maintained for everyone involved.
Large logs require special extras: The powerful standard winch impresses with its exceptionally strong pulling force, whilst the hydraulic lifting mechanism helps to ensure effortless feeding. This is how the logs are pulled straight to the machine!
What’s more, the innovative splitting blade makes it easier to pull the logs back out and split them – for more efficient work with less effort.
The easy splitting knife, which comes as standard, makes it easier to split large logs: The lower logs are already the desired size after the first splitting process, whilst the upper ones rest on the knife and can be split further until the desired log quality is achieved

To extend its operating range, the SplitMaster Turbo is equipped with a tractor chassis and a tow eye. The chassis consists of a drawbar, a tow eye, an axle with
two wheels, a mechanical support leg and a parking brake (without lighting). Transport arrangements and driving speeds on public roads must be checked on a country-by-country basis.
To ensure that the log is always split down the middle, thereby achieving optimum wood quality, the splitting blade can be easily adjusted hydraulically for height. This means it can be flexible in its adjustment to suit different wood diameters. Three notches on the base frame serve as a guide to help you easily position the splitting blade at the desired log height. They give log heights of 7 cm, 10 cm and 13 cm as guide values.
Thanks to the standard ‘
’ wood tray, logs remain at a convenient height after splitting and can be stored away or split again straight away. The recessed grip makes it easier to grasp and remove items. For storage and transport, part of the shelf at

It lifts the trunk into the splitting area, takes the strain off your back and provides extra storage space. A stop plate positions the trunk perfectly and prevents
it from becoming wedged as it enters the
splitting area. The bevelled lifting mechanism, with no sharp edges, allows the timber to be effortlessly pulled back or pushed back from the operator’s station or the wood tray.
For added safety, the splitting process can only be initiated once the hydraulic lifting mechanism is in a horizontal position.
Thanks to the innovative design of the splitting trough, the trunk is automatically centred during feeding, so it does not need to be constantly realigned by hand. This enables you to work much more efficiently, as fewer interventions are required. It has no protruding edges and is bevelled towards the wood tray, so that logs to be split further can be easily removed from both the wood tray and the splitting blade. You’ll save both energy and time.
For increased safety: If a piece of wood gets behind the pressure piece, the safety shut-off flap stops the pressure piece from moving in. In addition, the pressure piece has been specially designed to minimise the material from slipping or shifting!
The two-hand operation is positioned at an ergonomic height; the splitting process is initiated by pulling both joysticks simultaneously.
This requires the hydraulic lifting device to be in a horizontal position. The splitting process remains active as long as the joysticks are held pulled back. When both joysticks are released, the pressure piece returns automatically to its starting position without any further action being required.

Since 2016, the Antlashof in Lower Austria has been offering people with mental health conditions a space that provides structure and stability – in harmony with nature. Supported by a multi-disciplinary team, participants can immerse themselves in various areas of work and work on stabilising their mental health. The programme takes into account the individual abilities of each person. Managing Director Roland Hammerschmid places particular emphasis on the strengths and resources of the young people and adults in his care. Among other things, they work together to produce regional products such as vegetables and firewood, and offer animal-assisted therapy.
As we work with people with mental health conditions, it is very important that the system is fast, efficient, simple and ensures safety when used. We’ve only been using the log splitting machine for four weeks, but we’re already absolutely convinced that it’s the right machine for our specific needs.
