Zyklon 400

Cleaning

The cyclone complements the chip extraction unit and, using the principle of physical separation, reliably removes coarse chips and dust from the air – without the need for filter media or moving parts. This makes it low-maintenance and durable. The chips are channelled away and can be collected centrally in a container provided. It can be mounted either securely to the wall or flexibly using an optional mounting frame. The appliance must only be used outdoors!

Air outlet including mounting points

The cyclone can be easily suspended from the air outlet’s mounting points on a load-bearing structure. A cover protects the system from the elements and ensures a controlled airflow thanks to its surrounding slats. It also forms the top of the ventilation housing or air duct.

Cyclone mounting frame

The height-adjustable steel frame ensures that the cyclone is securely held in place and remains stable on a level surface when set up in a stationary position. It consists of a base frame with a solid column and a mounting frame for the cyclone, which can be fixed at the appropriate height depending on the collection container. Thanks to its built-in lifting points, it can be transported by forklift; it can also be fitted with roller bearings for manual movement as optional equipment. The cleverly designed hose routing prevents kinks in the pressure hose, whilst a cover reliably protects the collection tank from the elements.

Roller bearings

Thanks to its two fixed castors and two swivel castors, the cyclone with mounting frame can be moved manually with ease on a level surface. The rollers are equipped with brakes, offering high stability and ease of use.

BigBag holder

The application of big bags offers numerous advantages over traditional collection containers: When empty, they take up hardly any storage space, reduce transport costs, save resources and, thanks to the recycling system, can be flexibly reused or exchanged. This option includes four suspension hooks for securely hanging a big bag from the cyclone’s mounting frame. To allow flexible adjustment to different big bag sizes, these can be adjusted in height from 100 to 160 cm tool-free. Sling and lifting loops are required on the big bag.

Relief chamber

The relief chamber with a curtain helps to reduce turbulence in the collection tank. It ensures that the chips are discharged from the cyclone in a smooth and even manner. This ensures effective separation and guarantees a clean, controlled flow of material.

Mounting frame not part of the scope of supply! ATTENTION: The Zyklon must not be used in enclosed spaces!

Relief chamber
