The difference lies in the size: The Oscar is even more compact and manoeuvrable, and, in addition to the version with 8 tonnes of splitting force, also offers models with 5 and 6 tonnes. As with Polly, the splitting process on Oscar is also actuated with just one hand. The transparent polycarbonate panel shields you from the hazardous area – yet you can still see everything at a glance. In short: Working with this little powerhouse is a breeze, and the operator feels completely safe whilst doing so. For anyone who prefers things to be simple and practical, Oscar delivers reliable performance: It effortlessly performs splitting of short logs into firewood. Safe one-handed operation

Close the protective hood & start the splitting process: once the protective hood has been closed, the splitting process is only activated by pressing the adjustable rip fence at operating height – this can be done with just one hand. This allows you to work comfortably and with safety at an ergonomic height using just one hand.

Protective polycarbonate enclosure

Innovative, unique and protects what we hold dear: You and everyone involved in the work process. During the splitting process, the cover remains closed, thereby protecting the danger zone. Thanks to the transparent polycarbonate cover, you always have a clear view of the splitting area. It is impact-resistant and opens automatically as soon as the adjustable rip fence is released.

Simple and tool-free splitting stroke adjustment

Unnecessary empty runs when splitting short timber cost time! Work more efficiently by simply adjusting the splitting stroke to the desired log length at a comfortable operating height – without any tools and in a single easy step.

Standard wood tray

Logs lying on the ground have to be laboriously picked up: Thanks to our standard wood tray, the logs remain on it at a convenient height after the splitting process, so that they can either be put away straight away or split again if necessary. A pull-out drawer can be placed under the wood tray to make it easier to remove items. The table can also be folded up for space-saving storage and transport.

Easy transport – even without a tractor

Off to the scene: Thanks to its large solid rubber wheels (300 mm in diameter) and the standard handle, the machine can be moved comfortably and effortlessly by hand on paved surfaces.

4-way turning cross

With the reversible split cross, you’ll finish work earlier: The wood can be split into 4 logs in a single work step. The reversible cross-slot can be fitted in two different positions tool-free, to accommodate different diameters.

Well-designed slatted trough shape

To avoid having to constantly align the wood by hand, the splitting trough is innovatively designed to perform automatic centring of the trunk as it is fed into the machine. They work much more efficiently, as fewer interventions are required in the work process. The flattened, trough-shaped design in the operating area reduces the height of the task – saving you effort and time.

Safety shut-off damper

For increased safety: If a piece of wood gets behind the pressure piece, the safety shut-off flap stops the pressure piece from moving in.

The special design of the pressure piece minimises any slipping or shifting of the material being split.

Compact when stored, powerful when in use

Not much storage space? Our Oscar folds down compactly for space-saving storage and transport, without the need for tools. The wooden storage table folds away.
