Polly really stands out for its ease of use: The splitting process is triggered by a one-handed control, and thanks to the transparent polycarbonate casing, you are shielded from the danger zone – yet you can still see everything at a glance. In short: Working with this powerhouse is effortless, and the operator feels completely safe. And Polly puts a (wooden) disc on top, because thanks to the lifting mechanism, you can keep a cool head whilst chopping firewood! This handy extra lifts the trunks off the ground and into the splitting chute – making splitting even easier on your back and less tiring! This is Polly – a favourite around the house and garden!

Safe one-handed operation

Close the protective hood & start the splitting process: the splitting process is only activated after the protective hood has been closed by pressing the adjustable rip fence at operating height – this can be done with just one hand. This allows you to work comfortably and with safety at an ergonomic height using just one hand. The splitting process can only be started by actuating the adjustable rip fence.

Protective polycarbonate enclosure

Maximum operational safety thanks to a covered and clearly visible splitting area. Innovative, unique and protects what we hold dear: You and everyone involved in the work process. During the splitting process, the cover remains closed, thereby shielding the danger zone. Thanks to the transparent polycarbonate cover, you always have a clear view of the splitting area. It is impact-resistant and opens automatically as soon as the adjustable rip fence is released.

Hydraulically height-adjustable splitting blade

To ensure the log is always split down the middle and to achieve optimum wood quality, the splitting blade can be conveniently adjusted hydraulically for height. This means it can be flexible in its adjustment to suit different log diameters.

Hydraulic log lifting device

Instead of laboriously lifting the trunk by hand, the hydraulic lifting device takes the strain off your back. This option lifts the trunk into the splitting area for you and provides additional storage space during the splitting process. It can be easily folded up for storage and transport.

Easy transport – even without a tractor

Off to the scene: Thanks to its large solid rubber wheels (300 mm in diameter) and the standard transport aid, the machine can be moved by hand comfortably and effortlessly on paved surfaces.

Standard wood tray

Logs lying on the ground often have to be laboriously picked up. Thanks to our standard wood tray, the logs remain at a convenient height after the splitting process – ideal for putting them away straight away or splitting them again if necessary. A pull-out drawer can be placed under the wood tray to make it easier to remove items. The table can also be folded up for space-saving storage and transport of Polly.

Well-designed slatted trough shape

To avoid having to constantly align the wood by hand, the splitting trough is innovatively designed to perform automatic centring of the trunk as it is fed into the machine. They work much more efficiently, as fewer interventions are required in this work process. The flattened, trough-shaped design in the operating area reduces the height at which you have to place items – saving you time and effort.

Safety shut-off damper

For increased safety: If a piece of wood gets behind the pressure piece, the safety shut-off flap stops the pressure piece from moving in.

Innovative pressure piece

The special design of the pressure piece minimises any slipping or shifting of the material being split.

Compact when stored, powerful when in use

Not much storage space? Our Polly folds up compactly for space-saving storage and transport, without the need for tools. Both the timber storage table and the lifting mechanism can be folded away.

Simple and tool-free splitting stroke adjustment

Unnecessary empty runs when splitting short timber cost time! Work more efficiently by simply adjusting the splitting stroke to the desired log length at a comfortable operating height – without any tools and in a single easy step.
