Full-length log splitter

The horizontal log splitter is the high-performance solution for processing large trunks into metre-length timber. With splitting forces of up to 30 tonnes, it ensures efficient operation, whilst a safety guard reliably protects the operator and the surrounding area. What’s more, the innovative splitting blade makes it easier to pull the logs back out and split them – for more efficient work with less effort. Large logs require special extras: The winch stands out thanks to its exceptionally powerful pulling power, which draws the logs directly towards the machine.

Innovative design for your safety: Our well-thought-out concept protects you and everyone in the work area! It comprises a protective grille at the rear of the SplitMaster, a spacious wood tray and a hydraulic lifting mechanism, which must be in a horizontal position in order to start the splitting process. This ensures that safety is maintained for everyone involved.

Portable

Do you also work outside the home and on the farm? Thanks to the standard three-point linkage (category II), the SplitMaster can be easily transported on the tractor.

Hydraulic lifting device for effortless feeding

Instead of laboriously lifting the trunk by hand, the hydraulic lifting device takes the strain off your back. It lifts the trunk into the splitting area and provides additional storage space during the splitting process. A stop plate ensures that the trunk is positioned correctly in front of the pressure piece and prevents it from becoming wedged during transfer to the splitting area. The splitting process is only initiated once the hydraulic lifting mechanism is in a horizontal position. For space-saving storage and easy transport, the lifting device can be effortlessly folded up into the transport position using the hand-operated cable winch supplied.

Hydraulically height-adjustable splitting blade

To ensure that the log is always split down the middle, thereby achieving optimum wood quality, the splitting blade can be easily adjusted hydraulically for height. This means it can be flexible in its adjustment to suit different wood diameters. Three notches on the base frame serve as a guide to help you easily position the splitting blade at the desired log height. They give log heights of 7 cm, 10 cm and 13 cm as guide values.

Practical wood tray

Logs lying on the ground often have to be laboriously lifted in order to put them away. Thanks to the standard wood tray, the logs remain at a convenient height after the splitting process and can either be put away straight away or split again if necessary. The recessed handle on the wood tray makes it easy to grip and convenient to remove items. The wood tray can be folded up for space-saving storage and transport. To ensure that the wood tray can be safely moved into the working or transport position, all folding parts must be correctly positioned to ensure the required safety clearances.

Optional easy splitting knife, including Sappie

The ‘must-have’ accessory for your SplitMaster, allowing you to perform splitting on even large trunks with ease, without having to laboriously manoeuvre them into the splitting channel afterwards. When the wood is pushed through the easy gap gauge, the large pieces at the top remain on top of it. Using the Sappie, which is supplied as standard with the Easy-Messer, these can be conveniently retrieved into the splitting channel and the hydraulic lifting mechanism for further processing. This process can be repeated as often as required until the desired log quality is achieved. The standard 2-way and 4-way splitting blade is no longer included.

Safe two-hand operation

Safety and splitting are not mutually exclusive: The SplitMaster is operated via a safe two-hand control system at an ergonomic height, ensuring that you always remain within the protected working area. Split On: The splitting process is only activated once both control levers have been actuated and the hydraulic lifting mechanism is in a horizontal position. This feature provides additional protection for everyone involved in the work process.

Safety shut-off damper

For increased safety: If a piece of wood gets behind the pressure piece, the safety shut-off flap stops the pressure piece from moving in.

Innovative pressure piece

The special design of the pressure piece minimises the risk of the material being pressed between the plates slipping or shifting.

Well-designed slatted trough shape

Thanks to the innovative design of the splitting trough, the trunk is automatically centred during feeding, so it does not need to be constantly realigned by hand. This allows you to work much more efficiently, as fewer interventions are required – saving you both effort and time

Small notches – a big help

The three notches on the base frame serve as a guide to help you easily position the splitting blade at the desired log height. They give log heights of 7 cm, 10 cm and 13 cm as guide values.
