Thanks to the innovative two-cylinder system and the intelligent Autospeed function, the log splitter works particularly fast: Forward and return travel times are reduced, idle time is minimised and timber throughput is significantly increased. The system performs automatic activation of additional splitting force only when required, thereby ensuring efficient, powerful operation. The standard easy splitting knife enables fast re-splitting of large trunks, whilst well-thought-out features such as the wood tray and hydraulic lifting mechanism further speed up and simplify the workflow. Large logs require special extras: The winch stands out thanks to its exceptionally powerful pulling power, which draws the logs directly towards the machine.

Innovative design for your safety: Our well-thought-out concept protects you and everyone in the work area! It comprises a protective grille at the rear of the SplitMaster, a spacious wood tray and a hydraulic lifting mechanism, which must be in a horizontal position in order to start the splitting process. This ensures that safety is maintained for everyone involved.

Practical wood tray

Logs lying on the ground often have to be laboriously lifted in order to put them away. Thanks to the standard wood tray, the logs remain at a convenient height after the splitting process and can either be put away straight away or split again if necessary. The recessed handle on the wood tray makes it easy to grip and convenient to remove items. To save space during storage and transport, part of the wood tray can be folded up.

Hydraulic lifting device for effortless feeding

Instead of laboriously lifting the trunk by hand, the hydraulic lifting device takes the strain off your back. It lifts the trunk into the splitting area and provides additional storage space during the splitting process. A stop plate ensures that the trunk is positioned correctly in front of the pressure piece and prevents it from becoming wedged during transfer to the splitting area. The lifting mechanism is bevelled towards the wood tray and has no protruding edges. This means that wood which is to be split again can be effortlessly pulled back from the operator’s station, or pushed back by another operator at the wood tray, without it becoming jammed. For added safety, the splitting process cannot be initiated until the hydraulic lifting mechanism is in a horizontal position. The integrated recess in the lifting mechanism creates a designated parking position for the Sappie within the working area. This ensures that the tool is always to hand and helps to maintain an efficient workflow. For space-saving storage and easy transport, the lifting mechanism with the hydraulic cylinder can be raised to just before the parking position, where it can then be effortlessly swivelled into the locking position by hand and locked in place.

Hydraulically height-adjustable splitting blade

To ensure that the log is always split down the middle, thereby achieving optimum wood quality, the splitting blade can be easily adjusted hydraulically for height. This means it can be flexible in its adjustment to suit different wood diameters. Without having to switch between two control levers, the blade adjustment can be conveniently actuated using two buttons on one of the two joysticks of the two-hand control system in the operating area. This makes operation easier, more convenient and more efficient. Alternatively, the splitting blade can also be operated by the second person working at the wood tray via a control box fitted to the safety guard in the area of the wood tray. From this working position, she has a clear view of the knife blades, as they are not obscured by the wood, and can therefore position the knife even more accurately. By lifting the splitting blade slightly during the splitting process, you can specifically reduce the friction caused by the trunk in the splitting trough. Adjustment can be carried out easily and without interrupting the splitting process using the buttons on the joystick or, alternatively, by a second person using the control box on the wood tray. Three notches on the base frame serve as a guide to help you easily position the splitting blade at the desired log height. They give log heights of 7 cm, 10 cm and 13 cm as guide values.

Tractor chassis

To extend its operating range, the SplitMaster Turbo is equipped with a tractor chassis and a tow eye. The chassis consists of a drawbar, a tow eye, an axle with two wheels, a mechanical support leg and a parking brake (without lighting). Transport arrangements and driving speeds on public roads must be checked on a country-by-country basis.

Easy splitting knife, including Sappie

The standard knife for your SplitMaster, designed to perform splitting on even large trunks with ease, without having to laboriously manoeuvre them into the splitting channel afterwards. When the wood is pushed through the easy gap gauge, the large pieces at the top remain on top of it. With the standard Sappie, these can be conveniently retracted into the slotting channel and the hydraulic lifting mechanism for further processing. This process can be repeated as often as required until the desired log quality is achieved. Grooves cut into the vertical main cutting edge aid in splitting fibrous or soft wood. They improve the guidance of the log during the splitting process and reduce the likelihood of the upper sections of the log rising up.

Safe and comfortable two-handed control

Safety and splitting are not mutually exclusive: The SplitMaster is operated via a safe two-hand control system at an ergonomic height, ensuring that you always remain within the protected working area. Split On: The splitting process is activated by pulling both joysticks simultaneously. This requires the hydraulic lifting device to be in a horizontal position. The splitting process remains active as long as the joysticks are held pulled back. If either of the two joysticks is released, the pressure piece remains in that position. When both joysticks are released, the pressure piece returns automatically to its starting position without any further action being required.

Safety shut-off damper

For increased safety: If a piece of wood gets behind the pressure piece, the safety shut-off flap stops the pressure piece from moving in.

Well-designed slatted trough shape

Thanks to the innovative design of the splitting trough, the trunk is automatically centred during feeding, so it does not need to be constantly realigned by hand. This enables you to work much more efficiently, as fewer interventions are required. It has no protruding edges and is bevelled towards the wood tray, so that logs to be split further can be easily removed from both the wood tray and the splitting blade. You’ll save both energy and time.

The special design of the pressure piece minimises the risk of the material being pressed between the plates slipping or shifting.

Even at turbo speed in the transport position

The SplitMaster Turbo can be moved into the transport position fast and without the need for tools. The solid lifting device is swivelled into the transport position using the hydraulic cylinder and locked in place. Part of the wood support is swivelled into place and locked.

Tractor drive with PTO shaft

Do you also work outside the home and yard? Your tractor can tow the machine by the tow eye and, using the optional drive shaft, drive it at the desired location.

Electric drive

Look after yourself and the environment: the electric motor runs quietly and can be powered by electricity from renewable sources. These solutions help to reduce air pollution and do not produce any harmful exhaust fumes in your working environment. The low-noise electric drive is available with a 15 kW electric motor (requiring a CEE 32 A power connection). The built-in motor protection ensures a long service life by protecting against thermal overload. Rotation direction detection prevents the motor from running in the wrong direction, whilst the phase inverter allows the direction of rotation to be easily corrected. The automatic star-delta start ensures a low starting current. The pressure cut-off valve on the fitted triple-stage pump reduces the required drive power by pressure-regulating the shutdown of one pump stage when the gap load is high. This means that a fast work cycle is also possible with the electric drive.

Hybrid drive

Whether it’s a tow motor or an electric drive – your machine is always ready for action! The hybrid drive combines the advantages of a tractor PTO shaft and an electric motor, allowing you to remain flexible both on the farm and in the forest: Your tractor can tow the machine using the tow eye and power it at the desired location using the optional drive shaft. The electric motor runs quietly and can be powered by electricity from renewable sources. These solutions help to reduce air pollution and do not produce any harmful exhaust fumes in your working environment. In addition, electric drives offer significant cost savings compared with conventional internal combustion engines. The electric motor’s low energy consumption reduces running costs, and the electric drive system is also easy to maintain. This combined option therefore offers a sustainable, low-noise and cost-effective solution.

To reduce the need for further splitting, with the Pro blades in application, the logs are split not just into two but directly into four pieces by the Easymesser’s cross-cutting blade. When processing large pieces of wood, the two logs may still be too big to fit under the EasySpalt blade. The switchable vertical cutting edges beneath the cross-cutting edge of the Easymesser, which are positioned approximately 90 mm to the left and right of the main cutting edge, allow these logs to be split again directly during the splitting process. This saves you time and reduces the need for re-splitting, whilst ensuring good wood quality. The cutting functions can be controlled using two buttons on one of the two joysticks of the two-handed control system or on the control box above the wood tray. They are each moved up and down by a hydraulic cylinder. On the return journey from the pressure piece, these are lowered automatically. They are arranged at a slight angle and mounted on flexible bearings. This allows them to give way sideways during the splitting process, which makes splitting easier and protects against damage. The Pro cutting blades can only be used in conjunction with the easy gap gauge.

In addition to the standard 2-way and 4-way splitting blades, we offer additional splitting blade variants that allow up to 12 logs to be split per splitting process. This ensures you always achieve the desired log quality, even when dealing with logs of varying wood diameters.

The ‘must-have’ accessory for your SplitMaster, allowing you to perform splitting on even large trunks with ease, without having to laboriously manoeuvre them into the splitting channel afterwards. When the wood is pushed through the easy gap gauge, the large pieces at the top remain on top of it. Using the Sappie, which is supplied as standard with the Easy-Messer, these can be conveniently retrieved into the splitting channel and the hydraulic lifting mechanism for further processing. This process can be repeated as often as required until the desired log quality is achieved. The standard 2-way and 4-way splitting blade is no longer included.
