Sawing metre-long pieces of timber with ease – with automatic wood feed

For precise log lengths from 15 to 52 cm: The patented EasyCut longitudinal stop is tool-free and adjustable in 12 stages. Thanks to a spring, it can be adjusted fast and easily. The corrugated stop plate reduces resistance and friction, allowing the wood loading bay to glide effortlessly during the sawing process. The conical roller in the feeding area and the specially designed wood-loading mould ensure that the wood is positioned perfectly, thus guaranteeing perfect logs!

The EasyCut semi-automatic firewood saw offers an impressive increase in working speed and ensures effortless operation. The innovative, patented, wave-shaped stop allows you to set the desired length of timber fast and precisely in just a few simple steps, without the need for any tools. During operation, the cut timber is placed into the ergonomic wood loading bay, which gently and automatically guides the timber right up to the stop – ensuring efficient and comfortable use.

Whether you’re working with the EasyCut on your own or as a pair, the saw is easy to use and the loading height (850 mm) is easy on the back. This means you can saw for a length of time without getting tired.

Smooth feeding via the wood loading bay

The EasyCut stands out for its smooth operation: Thanks to the integrated ball bearings in the wood loading bay, you can perform cutting operations on even large quantities of wood without having to exert much effort. Even after several hours, you won’t feel any strain on your back, as you feed the logs into your EasyCut at a comfortable, ergonomic height (feeding height 850 mm). You can perform actuation of the saw from either the side or the front, as the operating handle effectively wraps round the log feed chute. Once you have placed the log in the spacious feed tray, it slides automatically towards the saw blade under the force of gravity. The conical roller in the feed area and the special funnel- or hopper-shaped design ensure that the timber is guided optimally to the saw blade, where it is then cut to the desired length by manual actuation of the hopper. Under the force of gravity, the metre-long piece of timber slides down of its own accord to the wood stop, where it can be cut again. The built-in stainless steel insert ensures that the tool glides even more smoothly – even on rough wood. This ensures a continuous feed rate without the need for any further manual intervention. Once the sawing process is complete, the load returns automatically to its starting position.

EasyCut – the semi-automatic firewood saw

The EasyCut offers a significant time-saving advantage when it comes to operation. The patented, undulated stop lets you adjust the desired billet length without tools in just a few steps. For operation, the timber to be cut is put in the ergonomic timber trough and automatically glides up to the stop.

For a clean work station

The standard chip ejection system at the front of the machine features an integrated chip extraction connection with a diameter of 100 mm. This allows you to easily connect the machine to a chip extraction fan, ensuring a clean and virtually dust-free working environment. Small pieces of wood that may end up in the chip tray are ejected through a grille at the rear of the machine.

Simply from A to B

Thanks to the standard three-point linkage (Categories I and II), the EasyCut can be easily transported to the work site using a tractor. For narrower tractors, a second three-point linkage, offset by 300 mm, reduces the lateral overhang on the right-hand side during transport in the direction of travel. The conveyor belt can be retracted for compact transport and storage, and can be positioned almost vertically using a hand-operated cable winch. A safety chain secures the conveyor belt, whilst the transport lock stabilises the wood loading bay. In addition, a mounting point for a pallet truck ensures safety in manoeuvring.

Ball-bearing-mounted log loader for effortless operation

To minimise the risk of the logs becoming jammed, the spring-loaded hold-down device secures the wood during the sawing process. This ensures a fatigue-free, fast and safe operating method without any disruptions! If necessary, the hold-down device can also be operated manually using a hand lever.

Carbide saw blade

Available in a reinforced model as the ideal solution for demanding professional applications. It offers an extended service life and is particularly suitable for intensive use on automatic saws. Thanks to the reduced effort required and significantly quieter operation, it improves efficiency. Furthermore, cutting times are significantly extended, as the blade needs to be resharpened less frequently.

Lashing points

To ensure safety during transport, the machine is equipped with lashing points that allow it to be securely fastened to the trailer.

Tractor drive with PTO shaft and on-board hydraulics

Do you also work outside the home and yard? With the integrated, solid three-point linkage, Cat. With I + II, you can easily transport the machine using your tractor. Thanks to the PTO drive and the optional drive shaft, the EasyCut can be powered directly at the desired location. Alternatively, the machine can be attached to a second three-point linkage that is offset by 300 mm. This results in the machine protruding less when being transported by smaller tractors. At this attachment point, the machine can also be operated with a drive shaft suitable for the larger articulation angle. If the v-belt drive becomes overloaded during operation, it can be easily disengaged using the optional cut-out device fitted to the machine. At the same time, the integrated brake brings the saw blade to a fast halt to ensure safety and smooth operation. The conveyor belt is driven by a hydraulic system integrated into the machine.

Combined drive system and on-board hydraulics

Whether it’s a tow motor or an electric drive – your machine is always ready for action! The hybrid drive combines the advantages of a tractor PTO shaft and an electric motor, allowing you to remain flexible both on the farm and in the forest: Your tractor can transport the machine using the integrated three-point linkage and drive it at the desired location using the optional drive shaft. The electric motor with star-delta start operates quietly and can be powered by electricity from renewable sources. These solutions help to reduce air pollution and do not produce any harmful exhaust fumes in your working environment. The V-belt efficiently transfers the required power from the motor to the saw blade. It ensures optimum cutting speed and thus greater cutting performance. The electric motor is connected via V-belts to the solid saw shaft, to which the saw blade is attached. This drive protects both the electric motor and the machine from overload, thereby extending their service life. The built-in motor protection prevents the electric motor from being overloaded. The phase inverter makes it easy to reverse the direction of rotation. In addition, electric drives offer significant cost savings compared with conventional internal combustion engines. The electric motor’s low energy consumption reduces running costs, and the electric drive system is also easy to maintain. This reduces maintenance costs, increases the machine’s uptime and reduces the need for repairs and spare parts, leading to further cost savings in the long term. The conveyor belt is driven by a hydraulic system integrated into the machine.
