The tilting saw with conveyor belt combines convenient firewood cut with efficient material removal. It’s ready to use in just a few minutes – with no complicated assembly or modifications required. The smooth-running rocker mechanism allows you to work in a way that is easy on the back and requires minimal effort, whilst the conveyor belt transports the sawn logs straight away, eliminating the need for manual loading. The standard purr saw blade ensures a comfortable and quiet working experience.

Sawing and loading firewood in a single work step

The sawn logs are automatically fed directly onto the permanently fixed conveyor belt, which is powered by its own integrated hydraulic system. This means you don’t need a connection to your tractor’s hydraulic system. The transfer area between the tilting saw and the conveyor belt is particularly spacious, preventing logs from becoming jammed. Using a hand-operated cable winch, the single-stage telescopic conveyor belt can be extended to a length of 4 metres in the working position; slide guides and scraper bars ensure that it can be extended and fed more easily. A second hand-operated cable winch with pulleys makes it easier to perform tilt adjustment from 20 to 35 degrees and to position the unit vertically for transport. An indicator is built into the conveyor belt to enable the angle of inclination to be adjusted fast and accurately. The conveyor belt, which has a width of 230 mm, consists of individual segments that can be replaced separately. These are connected to metal feed rollers and ensure the safety of the log transport. Two rollers centre the conveyor belt, whilst scraper bars reduce dirt build-up on the drive drum. Fabric flaps in the transition area to the conveyor belt not only prevent small pieces of wood from slipping through the lower drum, but also prevent any resulting blockage of the conveyor belt. Two positioning pins and a safety chain ensure that the conveyor belt is securely fastened to the machine during transport.

Ready in seconds

Via two cable winches at operator height, the conveyor belt is manually extended and retracted – in seconds. And best of all, You can do this without any tools and without any additional modifications! The support legs ensure absolute stability.

A robust yet smooth-running rocker

The robust rocker offers maximum stability, whilst spring-assisted action, ball bearings and ergonomic handles ensure effortless operation. The fixed safety guard and rocker lock provide reliable protection against accidental contact with the saw blade. The special rocker shape with retaining nubs helps to prevent the log from twisting and the saw blade from becoming jammed. The adjustable longitudinal stop enables precise cuts, whilst the cutting area is fitted with machinable aluminium inserts that protect the saw blade.

Quiet, quieter, the pure joy of sawing

Thanks to its advanced sound-absorption technology and a specially developed tooth geometry, the purr Widia circular saw blade drastically reduces noise levels during cutting, resulting in a significantly more pleasant working environment. The noise level when idling is now just 72 dB(A), down from 92 dB(A) previously. The PURR circular saw blade stands out for its longer service life compared to conventional coarse-toothed circular saw blades, meaning it remains sharp and effective for longer before it needs to be replaced or resharpened. Efficiency increases and costs for the user are reduced.

Simply from A to B

Thanks to the standard three-point linkage (Categories I and II), the tilting saw with conveyor belt can be easily transported to the site of operation using a tractor. For compact transport and storage, the conveyor belt can be retracted and positioned vertically using a hand winch. The conveyor belt is also secured with a safety chain. The rocker is stabilised by a transport lock, and the additional forklift attachments make it easier to manoeuvre the machine with safety.

Desired log lengths

Would you like to be able to saw logs of the same length every time, without having to keep an eye on measurement marks? The solution: The adjustable longitudinal stop, which can be adjusted in 1 cm increments, can be set fast and easily from 20 to 52 cm. Once cut, the logs simply slide off the seesaw onto the conveyor belt. This eliminates the need for laborious and time-consuming manual removal. Thanks to the special shape of the rocker, the final section can be fed onto the conveyor belt with a single, simple hand movement. This means you avoid an empty stroke and save time.

Sawing and loading firewood in a single work step

The manually operated firewood saw with an integrated conveyor belt cuts logs and round timber with a maximum diameter of 24 cm and offers greater ease of use. The sawn logs are automatically fed directly onto the fixed conveyor belt – even the very last piece of the metre-long log falls onto the conveyor belt without the need for an additional rocking cycle! This feed area is particularly spacious and prevents logs from getting stuck. They can be operated by one person or two, and depending on the wood type and the number of operators, an hourly output of 3 to 6 cubic metres can be achieved.

Easy maintenance – consistently high performance

The saw blade can be changed fast and easily – the correct tool is supplied with the product. Thanks to the handy central lubrication rail on the machine’s frame, maintenance of the moving parts can be carried out in just a few simple steps, saving time and extending the service life. Furthermore, the V-belts can be easily retensioned to ensure consistent performance and optimum efficiency. This ensures your machine is always in perfect condition and ready for use at any time!

On-board hydraulic system

The conveyor belt on the tilting saw is powered standardly by its own integrated hydraulic system, which means there is no need for a connection to the tractor’s hydraulics. The system comprises a hydraulic tank with an oil dipstick, a return filter, a control valve, a hydraulic motor and a pump driven by the machine’s gearbox.

To ensure safety during transport, the machine is equipped with lashing points that allow it to be securely fastened to the trailer.

V-belt drive with tractor PTO shaft

Do you also work outside the home and yard? With the integrated, solid three-point linkage, Cat. With I + II, you can easily transport the machine using your tractor. Thanks to the v-belt drive and the optional drive shaft, the tilting saw can be powered directly at the desired location. If the v-belt drive becomes overloaded during operation, it can simply be disengaged using the cut-out device on the machine. At the same time, the integrated brake brings the saw blade to a fast halt to ensure safety and smooth operation.

For XXL logs

With the tilting extension (F0003779), you can also secure log lengths up to 200 cm safely and comfortably for sawing. The wood can be easily moved to the next cut using the rollers. When the tilting extension isn’t in use, it can be stored in the parking position – safely stowed away but always within easy reach!

For a clean work station

The chip extraction connection on the circular saw allows you to connect it easily to a chip extraction fan. To this end, the chip extraction connection is attached to the machine to ensure a clean and virtually dust-free working environment.
